I thought I’d mentioned this before, but a search says not, so:
We automatically generate SSL certificates for all customers using Let’s Encrypt.
These certificates are free, and we create and renew them automatically. You can still buy certificates from other providers and we will generate CSRs for you and install them on the relevant servers, but there is really no need to at the cheapest level. A Let’s Encrypt certificate is the exact equivalent of a certificate like https://www.namecheap.com/security/ssl-certificates/comodo/positivessl.aspx, but it’s free.
If you get any emails about basic level certificates related to your Monad hostname expiring, it is safe to ignore them. If you have a premium certificate that you would like us to use on your site, let us know!
