The Sql Server and one of the Web Servers has been bumped up a notch in capacity.

Any time the system feels slow, please let us know! Sometimes it’s just a passing glitch (you would not believe how hard Microsoft make it to force a server to only install updates in the middle of the night), sometimes it’s something in the code we can optimise, and sometimes we just need bigger servers.

I think I’m safe blaming an apparent slowdown in the last week or two on Meltdown / Spectre patches:

But the increase in server capacity is something I’ve been planning for a while anyway.
