The main change is a big internal rewrite of a component that was causing performance problems. The SiteMapProvider (which basically just helps build the breadcrumbs) was using up hundreds of megabytes of memory doing so. It’s been rewritten. Hopefully performance will see a noticable improvement.
Other enhancements:
- Upgraded to Google’s Universal Analytics
- Fixed a bug with packages whereby if the package rule said “not members” the package would not apply to members even if the membership benefit was not available for that product.
- Some aspects of browsing for products in package completion have had their performance improved massively.
- Folder pickers interact with search properly again.
